How to overcome premature ejaculation

Premature ejaculation is another taboo subject that affects almost half of all men at some point in their lives. There are a few ways of defining premature ejaculation:

  • If the man ejaculates before he wants to.
  • If the man ejaculates before penetration.
  • If the man cannot hold off ejaculating for at least one minute after penetration.

Premature ejaculation can happen to anyone, from teens losing their virginity to adult males having sex with a long-time partner. Believe it or not, our primate ancestors would ejaculate after just five or six thrusts. We’re not designed to have sex for hours on end, but after evolving to use sex as a pleasurable activity, we’ve come to expect it to.

One of the primary causes of premature ejaculation is anxiety. This can occur for a number of reasons, but often it’s if a man is having sex with a new partner. Conversely, this anxiety can lead to a man not ejaculating at all, which give a different kind of sexual experience altogether.

One way to lessen the problem of premature ejaculation is to make better use of foreplay, such as oral sex. This can bring a woman to orgasm and helps a couple explore different sexual techniques.

Wearing a condom is also a way to overcome premature ejaculation as it reduces the stimulation of the penis, A numbing cream may also help prolong ejaculation.

When having sex, tensing the buttocks during each thrusting motion diverts the feeling in the penis, which can prolong ejaculation. Many men simply divert their thoughts to anything except sex to avoid premature ejaculation.

During sexual intercourse, there’s no reason why you and your partner can’t simply learn to cease movement when you are about to climax. This method can dramatically increase the time before a man ejaculates.

There are a number of techniques for prolonging ejaculation. One is to have your partner squeeze your penis between the thumb and two fingers just below the helmet. If this is done for about five seconds when a man is about to ejaculate, it can prevent ejaculation altogether. Repeating this technique is a way to get back to having normal sex and overcoming premature ejaculation. Don’t forget that a man’s second ejaculation will usually take longer to occur than the first, so stay at it for better results.

Male impotence is normally caused by physical problems

Most people are still under the impression that male impotence is a purely psychological phenomenon. This isn’t true. One of the real problems regarding impotence is the extreme lack of knowledge in society about its causes. There is also a tendency by many men to shy away from the problems because of the stigma that goes with being impotent.

Impotence affects nearly 50% of men over the age of 40; it’s a common problem, so if you suffer from impotence, you are not alone. Erective dysfunction can happen to anybody, and it’s usually the result of a physical problem.

Most men who suffer form erectile dysfunction can still have erections and want to have sex, but the erections will often be short lived or not hard enough. The causes of this are normally a result of something going on in the body, and not the mind. Only about 10% of cases of erectile dysfunction are psychological.

Due to massive advances in the study of impotence, it is now easier than ever to deal with. For years, medicine refused to devote too much time to the study of the male reproductive system, while advances in the female reproductive system were vast. It seems that men just weren’t willing to admit to their problems in the past!

It was widely believed that the answer to sexual problems in males was primarily held in the mind. This dated view is slowly but surely being replaced and we are now able to tackle problems of impotence more effectively than ever.
